ETABS MCP (AECOMCPS)by SHMH-MCPs (aecomcps.com)
A free, closed-source ETABS server covering modelling, loads, analysis, design, database tables and model QA.
ETABS has no official MCP server, but several community servers attach to a running ETABS on Windows through the CSI API (ETABSv1). The broadest cover modelling, loads, analysis, results, design and database tables; one adds IS 1893 seismic checks, another ships a skill, and a free closed-source build claims ETABS 17 onward. A separate server only searches your own copy of the ETABS help. Supported versions differ widely, from v18 to v23, so check each one.

A Spanish-language ETABS server shipped as one .exe: sandboxed API code, API search and rendered views, plus a skill.
A five-tool ETABS bridge for model info, materials, frame drawing, analysis and drift or force results, run through a gateway.
A Spanish-documented ETABS 22 server with a few dozen named tools for geometry, loads, analysis and results, and a token-protected HTTP mode.
A one-file ETABS server that reads results through database tables and runs an ASCE 7 seismic model audit in one call.
A Claude Desktop extension for ETABS 21+ that runs sandboxed API code, searches API methods and serves eight ETABS skills.
A 69-tool ETABS server over the COM API, with IS 1893 seismic checks, ACI and IS 456 stiffness modifiers and table access.
A Python MCP server with a C# connector that creates, lists, edits and deletes ETABS points and frames from chat.
Searches your own copy of the ETABS help file with local embeddings; it answers questions and does not touch models.
A Spanish SKILL.md that keeps the agent on the ETABS API through the etabs-mcp server and bans screen-control tools.
Listings are sorted by origin, then by recent activity. GitHub data is refreshed nightly. Nothing here is ranked.
An MCP server or skill can only do what ETABS lets programs do. ETABS exposes 2 automation interfaces:
CSI has not announced an MCP server or AI assistant for ETABS as of this check. Its developer page describes the CSI API and its cross-product compatibility but mentions no AI features. Every ETABS server listed here is a community project, and several state they are not affiliated with CSI.

Taken from the listings' own documentation. Check each listing for exactly what it supports.
The listings here document setup for Any MCP client, Claude, Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Codex, Cursor, Devin (over HTTP), Gemini, Google Antigravity, OpenCode, VS Code (GitHub Copilot) and Windsurf. Install steps, copied from each project's own documentation, are on each listing's page. Most ETABS integrations run on your own computer next to ETABS, so you need ETABS installed and licensed on the same machine unless the listing says otherwise.
No. CSI has not published one or announced AI features as of 4 November 2026. The ETABS servers here are community projects built on the CSI API.
Yes, on Windows with ETABS installed and licensed. Servers such as mdvaleed7/ETABS-mcp and david-mamani/etabs-mcp attach to an open ETABS through COM and can build, analyse and query models. Each lists the ETABS versions it was built for.
Not directly. The CSI API is shared, but these servers target ETABS. SAP2000 and SAFE have their own servers, listed on their pages.
mdvaleed7/ETABS-mcp includes an IS 1893:2016 workflow with modal mass and drift checks. The AECOMCPS build reads drifts, modal periods and mass ratios but does not describe code-specific checks.
AI-generated models, drawings and results must be checked by a qualified engineer before use.
