What it can do
- Creates, opens and saves models, defines materials, sections, stories and grids, and draws points, frames and areas.
- Defines load patterns, cases (linear, modal, response spectrum, nonlinear) and combinations, runs the analysis and reads displacements, frame forces and reactions.
- Includes an IS 1893:2016 workflow with modal mass checks, response spectrum scale factors and a storey drift pass/fail report.
- Applies cracked-section stiffness modifiers from ACI 318-19 and IS 456 presets in one call.
- Offers a generic call that reaches any ETABS API method not wrapped by a named tool.
Limitations
- Windows only, through comtypes and the ETABSv1 COM API.
- The README states MIT, but the repository has no licence file GitHub recognises.
- Install is from source (clone and pip install).
