What it can do

  • Opens ETABS and prepares a new model with stories and grid through a prepare_session tool, or attaches to an open instance chosen by alias.
  • Searches the ETABS API documentation and runs agent-written code against the model in a sandbox.
  • Draws 3D, elevation and plan images from model data rather than screenshots of the ETABS window.
  • Installs a companion etabs-mcp-api skill that keeps the agent on the API and off desktop automation.

Limitations

  • README and skill are in Spanish.
  • Operations depend on what your ETABS version's API exposes; conceptual models still need an engineer's review and analysis.
  • Windows only; the executable bundles its own Python.
