What it can do

  • Reads any ETABS table by key, plus base reactions, modal periods and mass, amplified drifts, story forces and steel or concrete design summaries.
  • Applies frame, point, area and joint loads, including one-way or two-way area load distribution onto beams without meshing the slab.
  • Sets mass source, diaphragms, design preferences, ASCE 7-10 auto-seismic parameters and combinations.
  • check_model audits seismic design category, redundancy, R against framing type, period against Ta, soft-story and torsional irregularity, and amplified drift, sorted by severity.

Limitations

  • The author flags the ASCE 7-10 auto-seismic call's argument order as unconfirmed across versions.
  • Audit findings are advisory, and a check is skipped quietly if its table cannot be read.
  • Single Python file with no package; configure the path yourself.

Install

MCP servers and skills run code on your computer. Review the source before installing.
