Dlubal MCP Server (dlubal-mcp)by Dlubal Software
Dlubal's MCP server for RFEM 6, RSTAB 9 and RSECTION 1: agents run API scripts and read results through the gRPC API.
Dlubal ships an official MCP server, dlubal-mcp, that lets an agent run Python scripts against a running RFEM 6, RSTAB 9 or RSECTION 1 through Dlubal's gRPC API and read back a fixed set of results. The catch is commercial: it needs a Dlubal API key and API Service subscription, and every AI-driven request counts toward your monthly quota. The server is Windows-only, and its dlubal.api client version has to match your RFEM or RSTAB version.

An MCP server or skill can only do what RFEM / RSTAB lets programs do. RFEM / RSTAB exposes 2 automation interfaces:
Dlubal added an MCP server to the standard RFEM 6 installation from version 6.13.0002 (January 2026) and documents it on its API site, with setup for Claude Code and Codex. The same server also serves Dlubal CALC, Dlubal's browser-based tool, through its HTTP transport and a connector. Dlubal warns that AI requests count toward the API Service quota.

The listings here document setup for Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and VS Code. Install steps, copied from each project's own documentation, are on each listing's page. Most RFEM / RSTAB integrations run on your own computer next to RFEM / RSTAB, so you need RFEM / RSTAB installed and licensed on the same machine unless the listing says otherwise.
Yes. Dlubal's dlubal-mcp server is part of the RFEM 6 installation from 6.13.0002 and is also on PyPI. It covers RFEM 6, RSTAB 9 and RSECTION 1.
Yes. The server calls the Dlubal API, which needs an API key and an API Service subscription. Dlubal says requests made through AI tools count toward your monthly usage even when the server runs locally, so a long agent session can use up a small plan.
Dlubal's install guide gives configuration for Claude Code and Codex. The package description also names VS Code and Cursor, and the HTTP transport is used by Dlubal CALC.
The dlubal.api package must match your application version, for example 2.15 for RFEM 6.15. Rerun the install command with the new version and --upgrade after each update.
AI-generated models, drawings and results must be checked by a qualified engineer before use.
