LLSM (Local LLM for SCIA Model)by Quincy987

SCIA Engineer has one community project, LLSM, that lets Claude Code build and analyse SCIA Engineer 24 models through 25 tools on SCIA's OpenAPI, from a desktop chat panel or the terminal. It covers frames with rectangular sections, supports, line loads and beam results, and nothing more advanced yet. It runs on Windows next to a licensed SCIA install. Neither SCIA nor Nemetschek has released an MCP server for SCIA Engineer.

Listings are sorted by origin, then by recent activity. GitHub data is refreshed nightly. Nothing here is ranked.
An MCP server or skill can only do what SCIA Engineer lets programs do. SCIA Engineer exposes 2 automation interfaces:
SCIA has not announced an AI assistant or MCP server for SCIA Engineer. The product page mentions "intelligent automation" but nothing about AI, assistants or MCP, and we found no SCIA AI release from SCIA or its parent, the Nemetschek Group. LLSM is an independent project.

The listings here document setup for Claude Code. Install steps, copied from each project's own documentation, are on each listing's page. Most SCIA Engineer integrations run on your own computer next to SCIA Engineer, so you need SCIA Engineer installed and licensed on the same machine unless the listing says otherwise.
There is one community project, LLSM, which includes an MCP server for Claude Code with 25 SCIA tools. SCIA itself has not published one.
SCIA Engineer 24.0 on Windows. It assumes a single SCIA installation and drives it through the OpenAPI libraries loaded with pythonnet.
Yes. Besides Claude Code, its chat panel and CLI can use the Anthropic API, OpenAI, Gemini or a local model behind an OpenAI-compatible server; SCIA tool use is off by default for local models.
It handles rectangular sections only, with no IPE or HEA library lookup, and has no point loads, surface loads, slabs or load combinations. It also assumes one SCIA installation. Treat it as a way to build and check simple frames rather than full building models.
It loads SCIA's OpenAPI and ADM libraries into Python with pythonnet, runs SCIA calls on a dedicated thread and dismisses SCIA dialogs in the background. The MCP server wraps those calls as 25 tools for Claude Code.
AI-generated models, drawings and results must be checked by a qualified engineer before use.
