TeklaMCPby osc-bouw (Develoh)
A Windows desktop app that serves Tekla over local HTTP to place beams and columns, filter objects and find duplicate numbers.
Several community MCP servers drive an open Tekla Structures model on Windows through the .NET Open API, covering selection, components, UDAs, reports and, in two of them, drawings. A documentation server and two skills help an agent write Open API macros and report templates. Trimble has no public MCP server; its own Tekla Model Assistant is an in-app preview. Check each server's tested Tekla versions, because builds are tied to a release.
A Windows desktop app that serves Tekla over local HTTP to place beams and columns, filter objects and find duplicate numbers.
A Python server that drives an open Tekla model: selection, components, UDAs, clash checks, reports and drawing lists.
A C# server with 120 tools for the open Tekla model and its drawings, where every write is previewed before it is applied.
A Python server with 14 tools for selecting Tekla elements, inserting components and reading or setting user-defined attributes.
A documentation server that lets the assistant search the Tekla Open API reference and Trimble's example projects while writing code.
A skill that writes and checks Tekla report (.rpt) and drawing table (.tpl) templates as text, without opening Template Editor.
A short skill that gives the agent the connect, create, insert and commit pattern for C# Open API macros, with three samples.
Listings are sorted by origin, then by recent activity. GitHub data is refreshed nightly. Nothing here is ranked.
An MCP server or skill can only do what Tekla Structures lets programs do. Tekla Structures exposes 3 automation interfaces:
Trimble ships two assistants inside Tekla Structures rather than an MCP server. Trimble Assistant for Tekla answers product questions, and its Developer Assistant helps write Open API macros from the side pane. Tekla Model Assistant, a Preview in Tekla Structures 2026 for Diamond, Graphite and Carbon subscriptions, takes natural-language requests to create objects, run clash checks and make GA drawings, and reads custom rules and skills files. Neither page mentions MCP or access from outside clients.

Taken from the listings' own documentation. Check each listing for exactly what it supports.
The listings here document setup for Claude, Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Codex, Cursor, DeepChat and Goose. Install steps, copied from each project's own documentation, are on each listing's page. Most Tekla Structures integrations run on your own computer next to Tekla Structures, so you need Tekla Structures installed and licensed on the same machine unless the listing says otherwise.
Not as of 4 November 2026. Trimble's AI work for Tekla is in-app: Trimble Assistant for Tekla and the Tekla Model Assistant preview. Their documentation doesn't mention MCP, so every Tekla server listed here is a community project not affiliated with Trimble.
Yes, with a community MCP server running on the same Windows PC as Tekla. Tekla must be open with a model loaded. Some servers can place beams, columns, slabs and components; the tempalg1n server previews every write and waits for confirmation, and two servers offer a read-only mode.
Partly. The teknovizier and tempalg1n servers list, update, issue and print drawings, and the tempalg1n server can edit views, dimensions and marks, marked experimental. Remember to save drawing edits; that server warns that Tekla drops unsaved drawing changes when the model is reopened.
It differs per server. teknovizier tested 2022 and 2026; tempalg1n ships one build per release from 2021 to 2026 with 2021 and 2023 run live; osc-bouw needs 2023 or later; YuriyKirillov is set up for 2023. Each loads Open API DLLs from your installation, so match the build to your version.
AI-generated models, drawings and results must be checked by a qualified engineer before use.
