Autodesk Product Help MCP Serverby Autodesk
Autodesk's hosted, read-only server that searches Autodesk Help documentation for 110+ products; it answers questions but never opens a drawing or model.
Five community MCP servers drive Navisworks Manage or Simulate on Windows, four through a .NET add-in inside the program and one through its COM interface, so clash tests, search sets, viewpoints and model properties become agent tools. One is a free closed-source plug-in that needs a sign-in. Navisworks Freedom can't host add-ins, so none of them work with it. Autodesk has no Navisworks server of its own beyond its documentation-only Product Help MCP.

Seven compact tools for Navisworks Manage 2024 and 2027, covering model QA, clashes, TimeLiner 4D and Quantification over a named pipe.
A free, closed-source Navisworks Manage plug-in and MCP server for clash review, coordination QA, TimeLiner and quantities; needs a sign-in.
A Python server that uses Navisworks' own COM interface, with no add-in to compile, to browse, search, colour and capture a model.
A token-protected bridge to a live Navisworks 2026 or 2027 session: 32 tools for the selection tree, clash review, viewpoints and Roslyn C#.
A .NET add-in inside Navisworks Manage or Simulate plus a Python MCP server, with 40 tools for clash tests, clash groups, sets and viewpoints.
Operator skills that teach Claude, ChatGPT or Codex to use AUTOM8LABS's AutoCAD, Navisworks and MicroStation connectors economically.

An MCP server or skill can only do what Navisworks lets programs do. Navisworks exposes 3 automation interfaces:
Autodesk has not announced an MCP server or in-product AI assistant specific to Navisworks as of this check. Its Product Help MCP server, public since April 2026, gives outside AI agents read-only access to Help for more than 110 Autodesk products, but the announcement doesn't name individual products, and it answers questions rather than touching models.

Taken from the listings' own documentation. Check each listing for exactly what it supports.
The listings here document setup for ChatGPT, ChatGPT (optional cloud connector), Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cline, Codex, Continue, Cursor, Gemini CLI, Microsoft Copilot, VS Code and Windsurf. Install steps, copied from each project's own documentation, are on each listing's page. Most Navisworks integrations run on your own computer next to Navisworks, so you need Navisworks installed and licensed on the same machine unless the listing says otherwise.
Not as of 4 November 2026. Autodesk's only MCP offering that touches Navisworks is the Product Help server, which answers documentation questions. Every server that runs clash tests or reads model properties is a third-party project.
Yes, with an add-in-based server. Aitology, nhantruong96, BhaveshY and the AECOMCPS plug-in create and run Clash Detective tests and read results. The COM-based server can't, because the COM interface doesn't expose clash tests.
No. Freedom is a free viewer without plug-in support, and two of the servers say so directly. You need Manage, or Simulate for the servers that accept it.
Coverage runs from 2024 to 2027 but differs by server: BhaveshY targets 2024 and 2027, Aitology and AECOMCPS 2025 to 2027, nhantruong96 2026 and 2027, and the COM server is tested on 2026 only.
AI-generated models, drawings and results must be checked by a qualified engineer before use.
