MCP for Primavera P6by nizarhamza
Reads the P6 Professional database or XER files on Windows, runs DCMA, what-if and risk checks, and can write approved edits back.
Community MCP servers give an AI assistant read access to Primavera P6 schedules, mostly by parsing exported XER files, so P6 doesn't need to be open. One Windows server also reads and writes the P6 Professional standalone database with dry runs and backups, and another connects to a live P6 EPPM instance. Oracle offers no P6 MCP server. None of these covers P6 Professional on SQL Server or Oracle databases, and version testing is thin.

Reads MS Project, P6 and Synchro schedule files and adds Last Planner and Advanced Work Packaging layers on top.
A read-only server for P6 XER files built on PyP6XER: activities, critical path, resources, earned value and DCMA-style checks.
A reviewed catalogue of P6 workflow skills, such as update reviews and schedule audits, built on the MCP for Primavera P6 tools.
A large construction skill pack covering estimating, scheduling, BIM data and reports, with RVT, DWG and P6 XML readers.
A Last Planner and AWP skill that drives the lean-planning-mcp tools in order, or works as an advisor on exported schedules.
Listings are sorted by origin, then by recent activity. GitHub data is refreshed nightly. Nothing here is ranked.
An MCP server or skill can only do what Primavera P6 lets programs do. Primavera P6 exposes 3 automation interfaces:
Oracle's AI feature page for Primavera Cloud lists one feature, a Help Assistant that answers questions about using Primavera Cloud; an administrator must switch it on and it is offered in selected data centre regions. That page doesn't mention P6 Professional or P6 EPPM, and no Oracle MCP server for any Primavera product turned up in this check. Every P6 listing here is a community project.

The listings here document setup for Claude Code, Claude Desktop, ClawdBot, Cline, Codex, Continue, Cursor, Google Antigravity, LM Studio, OpenAI Agents SDK, OpenCode, VS Code, VS Code (GitHub Copilot), Windsurf, Zed and claude.ai. Install steps, copied from each project's own documentation, are on each listing's page. Most Primavera P6 integrations run on your own computer next to Primavera P6, so you need Primavera P6 installed and licensed on the same machine unless the listing says otherwise.
Not as of 4 November 2026. Oracle's published AI feature for Primavera Cloud is a Help Assistant for product questions, and no Oracle MCP server for P6 Professional, P6 EPPM or Primavera Cloud was found. The servers listed here are independent community projects.
Yes. Several servers parse XER files directly on Windows, macOS or Linux without P6 installed, and return activities, logic, float, resources and earned value. Reschedule in P6 before exporting so the dates in the file are current.
Two servers can, and both keep writes switched off by default. MCP for Primavera P6 edits the P6 Professional standalone database after a dry run, a backup and your confirmation, with P6 closed. P6-MCP needs an environment flag and a confirm argument before it writes XER files or EPPM data.
P6-MCP documents a live P6 EPPM connection. MCP for Primavera P6 states that EPPM and P6 Professional on SQL Server or Oracle are not supported; it works with the SQLite standalone database and XER files.
AI-generated models, drawings and results must be checked by a qualified engineer before use.
