What it can do

  • Loads a schedule file and reports the critical path, overallocated resources, baseline variance and the predecessors and successors of a task.
  • Keeps AWP packages (construction, installation, engineering and procurement work packages) in a sidecar file and blocks release of an installation package until its readiness check passes.
  • Runs a Last Planner cycle of pull plans, constraints, look-aheads, weekly commitments and PPC, TA and TMR metrics.
  • Exports the schedule to JSON or Gantt data and can generate a Power BI project file.

Limitations

  • Never edits the schedule itself; AWP and LPS data live in separate JSON files next to it.
  • Reading .mpp and P6 files needs a Java runtime for the mpxj extra; without it, save from MS Project as MSPDI XML first.
  • Recent Synchro 4D Pro files may not load; the author suggests exporting XER or MS Project XML instead.
