What it can do
- Attaches to a running Navisworks, or starts a hidden one, through the registered COM server.
- Walks the model tree and reads IFC and Revit properties of any node.
- Finds objects by name or property, then selects, colours, hides, isolates or zooms to them.
- Opens, appends and saves models and applies saved viewpoints.
Limitations
- The COM interface has no clash detection tools in this server.
- Each field read is a cross-process COM call, so large queries are slow, especially with the window visible.
- Windows only.
