MCP Server for CST Studio Suite (mcp-cst-studio)by RFingAdam
A 173-tool CST server for antennas, RF and PCB work that drives CST on Windows or writes VBA scripts on any OS when CST isn't present.
CST Studio Suite has no official MCP server, but at least six community servers drive it on Windows, through CST's Python libraries, its COM interface or VBA macros written into the History List. Three of them also return VBA scripts when CST isn't installed. Three skill sets cover antenna modelling, result extraction and optimisation. Most are tested only on CST 2025 or 2026, and they differ in licence, from MIT to AGPL.

A 180-plus-tool CST server built on RFingAdam's project, using the CST Python API for solving and results and history VBA for modelling.
A CST 2026 server in the CAE Agent Hub that controls a visible CST window and adds Design Studio schematic and co-simulation tools.
A fork of mcp-cst-studio with 177 tools that adds CST Design Studio schematic control for field-circuit co-simulation.
A 73-tool CST server that drives Microwave Studio through COM and temporary VBA macros, avoiding CST's version-bound Python libraries.
A Claude Code plugin with five CST antenna skills, slash commands, error-recovery hooks and a 408-object CST VBA reference.
A small nine-tool CST server in plain Node.js that calls CST's COM automation through PowerShell, with no npm dependencies.
Agent skills wrapping a 113-command CST CLI with guard rails against known CST traps, for modelling, solving, far fields and optimisation.

An MCP server or skill can only do what CST Studio Suite lets programs do. CST Studio Suite exposes 2 automation interfaces:
Dassault Systemes has not announced an MCP server or AI assistant for CST Studio Suite as of this check. The CST product page lists solvers, the design environment, optimisation, system modelling and 3DEXPERIENCE integration, with no AI or agent features. Automation remains the customer's job, through CST's Python libraries and VBA macros.

Taken from the listings' own documentation. Check each listing for exactly what it supports.
The listings here document setup for Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Codex, Cursor and OpenCode. Install steps, copied from each project's own documentation, are on each listing's page. Most CST Studio Suite integrations run on your own computer next to CST Studio Suite, so you need CST Studio Suite installed and licensed on the same machine unless the listing says otherwise.
No. As of 4 November 2026 Dassault Systemes hasn't announced one, and every CST server listed here is a community project. They run on your own Windows machine against your own CST licence.
Servers built on cst.interface depend on the Python libraries that ship with each release; the ismailakdag server documents the 2024 to 2026 layout. The COM-based K-13ROBOT and RFer-Dreaming servers only use the VBA object model, which has been stable for years, but their authors have tested only recent versions.
Partly. The RFingAdam server and the two projects built on it fall back to generating VBA scripts that you paste into CST later. Running a solve or reading results always needs a licensed CST on Windows.
Check each licence. The RFingAdam, ismailakdag and Orchestrator servers are AGPL-3.0, which matters if you modify and redistribute them or offer them over a network. The K-13ROBOT, RFer-Dreaming and CAE Agent Hub servers are MIT.
AI-generated models, drawings and results must be checked by a qualified engineer before use.
