ADS MCP Server (ads-mcp)by Keysight Technologies
Keysight's MCP server inside ADS 2027: attaches to a running ADS session, runs Python in it and searches ADS documentation.
Keysight ships an official MCP server, ads-mcp, inside ADS 2027. It attaches an MCP client to a running ADS session, or starts a headless one, runs Python in ADS and searches Keysight's documentation; it contains no language model of its own. A community Codex skill adds a data-first workflow for circuit, layout, EM, DRC and Gerber work, tested on ADS 2026 Update 1 on Windows. Earlier ADS releases have no MCP server.

A data-first Codex skill for ADS circuit, layout, EM, DRC and fabrication work, reading numbers from datasets, not screenshots.
Listings are sorted by origin, then by recent activity. GitHub data is refreshed nightly. Nothing here is ranked.
An MCP server or skill can only do what Keysight ADS lets programs do. Keysight ADS exposes 2 automation interfaces:
Keysight announced MCP servers for ADS 2027 and RF Circuit Simulation Professional on 6 October 2026, described as giving agents Keysight-built skills and tools and working with whatever assistant you already use. The ADS 2027 release notes say the ADS MCP server connects clients such as VS Code to an active session to run Python and fetch documentation. ADS also offers EDA Chat and EDA Copilots as add-ons, opened from Help > Chat.

Taken from the listings' own documentation. Check each listing for exactly what it supports.
The listings here document setup for Codex and VS Code. Install steps, copied from each project's own documentation, are on each listing's page. Most Keysight ADS integrations run on your own computer next to Keysight ADS, so you need Keysight ADS installed and licensed on the same machine unless the listing says otherwise.
Yes. Keysight ships an MCP server with ADS 2027 and announced it on 6 October 2026. It runs on your machine over stdio and is launched by your MCP client. Keysight's setup page, "Using ADS MCP in VS Code", needs a Keysight account.
Keysight lists the MCP server as part of ADS 2027. Wevolver reports a minimum licence version of 2026.02. For older releases you can still script ADS through its Python API or use the community skill, which was tested on ADS 2026 Update 1.
None of its own. You bring the model through an MCP client; Keysight's release notes name Visual Studio Code as one example. Keysight's EDA Chat and EDA Copilots are separate add-ons inside ADS.
The community keysight-ads-simulation skill covers Momentum and RFPro setup, port mapping and mesh convergence evidence. With the official server, EM runs depend on what the agent can do through ADS Python in the attached session.
AI-generated models, drawings and results must be checked by a qualified engineer before use.
