Altium MCP Serverby coffeenmusic
Drives Altium Designer on Windows through a DelphiScript bridge: output jobs, symbols, footprints, placement, DRC and silkscreen.
Two community MCP servers drive a running Altium Designer on Windows by launching DelphiScript inside it and passing JSON request and response files back and forth. A third server reads .SchDoc schematics without Altium, and a skill helps agents write DelphiScript. Altium hasn't published an MCP server. Expect Windows-only setups, a licensed copy of Altium open on the same machine, and script-engine quirks that the authors document in detail.
Drives Altium Designer on Windows through a DelphiScript bridge: output jobs, symbols, footprints, placement, DRC and silkscreen.
Reads OrCAD .DSN, Altium .SchDoc and KiCad schematics without the EDA tool, for net tracing and reviews.
A Node.js server that connects Cursor to Altium Designer 22+ on Windows for PCB queries and schematic sheet editing.
A Claude Code skill for writing Altium DelphiScript, backed by 230+ example scripts and PCB, schematic and DXP API references.
Listings are sorted by origin, then by recent activity. GitHub data is refreshed nightly. Nothing here is ranked.
An MCP server or skill can only do what Altium Designer lets programs do. Altium Designer exposes 2 automation interfaces:
Altium, now part of Renesas, describes its Agile Enterprise platform as one where natively integrating AI "will further enhance" connected context, which reads as a plan rather than a shipped feature. Its Altium Designer, Develop and Agile pages checked on 4 November 2026 don't mention an MCP server or agent interface.

The listings here document setup for Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Codex, Cursor and GitHub Copilot CLI. Install steps, copied from each project's own documentation, are on each listing's page. Most Altium Designer integrations run on your own computer next to Altium Designer, so you need Altium Designer installed and licensed on the same machine unless the listing says otherwise.
No. As of 4 November 2026 Altium hasn't announced one; the servers here are community projects that describe themselves as unaffiliated with Altium.
Yes, on Windows, through coffeenmusic's altium-mcp (packaged as a Claude Desktop extension) or flaco-source's altium-mcp for Cursor. Both run DelphiScript inside your open, licensed copy of Altium.
Treat it with care. coffeenmusic's README warned until April 2026 that placement "fails hard"; the current version adds batch placement and a clearance checker. Test on a copy of the board and run DRC afterwards.
For schematics, yes: the Universal Netlist server parses .SchDoc sheets through the .PrjPcb and traces nets read-only. Editing still needs Altium.
AI-generated models, drawings and results must be checked by a qualified engineer before use.
