PLAXIS-MCPby yixuanzhong
A Windows MCP server for PLAXIS 2D with separate Input and Output roles: 34 tools for building, meshing and calculating models, and 11 for reading results.
Two community MCP servers drive PLAXIS 2D on Windows through its Python remote scripting server, and one of them ships a PLAXIS skill that teaches the agent the build order and known quirks of PLAXIS 2D V20. Bentley publishes official MCP servers for STAAD.Pro and other products but none for PLAXIS yet, and neither community server documents PLAXIS 3D support.

Wraps the PLAXIS Python scripting library so Claude Code can build, mesh, calculate and read results from a running PLAXIS 2D model, and ships a PLAXIS skill alongside it.
A SKILL.md that teaches the agent the PLAXIS 2D build order and a list of tested PLAXIS V20 quirks, used together with the plaxisMCP server.
Listings are sorted by origin, then by recent activity. GitHub data is refreshed nightly. Nothing here is ranked.
An MCP server or skill can only do what PLAXIS 2D / 3D lets programs do. PLAXIS 2D / 3D exposes 2 automation interfaces:
Bentley lists official MCP servers for STAAD.Pro and STAAD Foundation Advanced (downloadable), MicroStation (early access) and ProjectWise, iTwin IoT, AssetWise, PLS-CADD and TOWER/PLS-POLE (on request). Its MCP page doesn't mention PLAXIS or any other geotechnical product, so there is no official PLAXIS server as of this check.

Taken from the listings' own documentation. Check each listing for exactly what it supports.
The listings here document setup for Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and VS Code (GitHub Copilot). Install steps, copied from each project's own documentation, are on each listing's page. Most PLAXIS 2D / 3D integrations run on your own computer next to PLAXIS 2D / 3D, so you need PLAXIS 2D / 3D installed and licensed on the same machine unless the listing says otherwise.
Not as of 4 November 2026. Bentley publishes MCP servers for STAAD.Pro, MicroStation and several other products, but its MCP page doesn't list PLAXIS. Both PLAXIS servers here are community projects.
Yes, through a community MCP server running on the same Windows machine as PLAXIS 2D. The server talks to PLAXIS's remote scripting server, so PLAXIS must be open, licensed and have remote scripting switched on.
Neither server documents PLAXIS 3D support. Both describe PLAXIS 2D. PLAXIS 3D uses the same remote scripting approach, so support may follow, but check each project before relying on it.
The Sompote server was built against PLAXIS 2D CONNECT Edition V20. The yixuanzhong server targets CONNECT Edition V22 and later, with 2024.2 and newer and V20 and V21 enabled only after the author's live certification.
AI-generated models, drawings and results must be checked by a qualified engineer before use.
