What it can do

  • Creates geometry, assigns Mohr-Coulomb materials, generates the mesh and sets up K0, construction and safety phases from a plain-English request.
  • Runs calculations inside your running PLAXIS 2D instance and reads results back.
  • Uses the plxscripting library from your own PLAXIS installation, with a bundled copy as a fallback.

Limitations

  • Windows only, and needs PLAXIS 2D open with its scripting server enabled.
  • You must edit the server file to point it at your PLAXIS installation's plxscripting folder.
  • The repository has no licence file, so reuse terms are unclear.

Install

claude mcp add plaxis -- python C:\full\path\to\plaxisMCP\plaxis_mcp_server.py
