What it can do
- Runs one server process per role, Input for model building, meshing and calculation and Output for results, connecting to PLAXIS remote scripting on the local machine only.
- Stores scripting passwords in Windows Credential Manager through a one-time setup command.
- Returns large result sets in pages through a get_results tool.
Limitations
- Windows only; Docker, WSL and remote transports are not supported.
- Changes to a model can't be undone through the server. The author recommends testing on disposable copies and asking for approval before tools that open, save or call arbitrary methods.
- The PyPI package isn't code-signed; the author recommends the signed Windows package for production use.
