What it can do

  • Sets out the standard build order, from materials and boreholes through structures, boundary conditions, mesh and phases to calculation and results.
  • Lists PLAXIS V20 behaviours found in testing, such as Eref being read-only, the conflict between Undrained C and K0 procedure phases, line displacement boundary handling and Safety phase setup.
  • Loads automatically when Claude Code runs from the repository folder.

Limitations

  • Written for PLAXIS 2D V20; later versions may behave differently.
  • Designed to work with the plaxisMCP server's tool names.

Install

Launch Claude Code from inside the plaxisMCP folder; the skill in .claude/skills/plaxis/SKILL.md loads automatically.
