HyperWorks MCP (CAE Agent Hub)by Cai-aa
Runs screened Tcl in HyperMesh Batch, allowlisted live HyperMesh operations, and OptiStruct and Radioss jobs with real status.
Two community MCP servers drive HyperMesh on Windows: one generates guarded Tcl meshing scripts that run in hmbatch or a visible session, and one exposes allowlisted live operations through an in-application extension plus typed OptiStruct and Radioss jobs. A third server, listed under Inspire, exports OptiStruct decks and reads .h3d results. HyperWorks now belongs to Siemens and ships its own CoPilot help assistant, but there is no official MCP server.

Runs Python in headless Altair Inspire batch processes to read models, summarise .h3d results and export OptiStruct decks.
Meshes solids in HyperMesh with generated Tcl, picking tetra, drag-hex or spin-hex per body from a geometry probe.
Listings are sorted by origin, then by recent activity. GitHub data is refreshed nightly. Nothing here is ranked.
An MCP server or skill can only do what HyperMesh / OptiStruct lets programs do. HyperMesh / OptiStruct exposes 3 automation interfaces:
Altair is now part of Siemens, and HyperWorks has moved into the Simcenter portfolio, with Simcenter Hypermesh 2026.1 in the June 2026 release. Altair CoPilot, built into HyperMesh, HyperView and other desktop apps, answers questions from Altair's documentation and can return Python script snippets in beta. It doesn't give an outside AI client control of HyperMesh, and no official MCP server has been announced.

Taken from the listings' own documentation. Check each listing for exactly what it supports.
The listings here document setup for Claude Desktop, Codex and Cursor. Install steps, copied from each project's own documentation, are on each listing's page. Most HyperMesh / OptiStruct integrations run on your own computer next to HyperMesh / OptiStruct, so you need HyperMesh / OptiStruct installed and licensed on the same machine unless the listing says otherwise.
No. Neither Altair nor Siemens has published one as of 4 November 2026. Altair CoPilot is a built-in help assistant, not an MCP server.
Yes, on Windows with a licensed HyperMesh. The times1234 server sends generated Tcl to hmbatch or to a session with its listener loaded; the CAE Agent Hub server works through an extension you install in HyperMesh.
The times1234 example targets a HyperWorks 2020 install path. The CAE Agent Hub server discovers whatever installation HYPERWORKS_HOME points to and reports missing launchers rather than naming versions.
The CAE Agent Hub server submits OptiStruct and Radioss jobs from templates the author has run against the real solvers. The Inspire server only exports OptiStruct decks and reads .h3d results.
AI-generated models, drawings and results must be checked by a qualified engineer before use.
