What it can do

  • Discovers HyperMesh, HyperView, HyperStudy and solver launchers, and keeps each job in an isolated project folder.
  • Through an authenticated in-application extension, imports STEP, IGES or Parasolid, automeshes surfaces, tetra- or map-meshes solids and reports mesh quality, checkpointing before each change.
  • Prepares and submits OptiStruct templates checked against the real solver (linear static, normal modes, buckling, gap contact, thermal stress) and Radioss impact fixtures, then audits the output.
  • Plots results in HyperView and writes HTML and JSON job reports.

Limitations

  • No arbitrary Python, Tcl or shell is exposed; anything outside the allowlisted operations and templates is unavailable.
  • Smoke tests and solver runs consume real HyperWorks licences.
  • General crash, airbag and solver-linked optimisation models are outside the tested templates.
