Abaqus MCP (CAE Agent Hub)by Cai-aa
Runs Abaqus Python in a live Abaqus/CAE session through a local socket bridge, submits jobs, and inspects ODBs and viewports.
Abaqus has more community MCP servers than any other FEA code here, and no official one. Several run Python inside an open Abaqus/CAE session through a plug-in and socket bridge; others work headless through the abaqus command, submitting .inp jobs, reading .sta and .msg files and extracting ODB results. A set of 25 Abaqus skills covers modelling and analysis steps. Check the Abaqus release first: bridges for Python 3 kernels (2024 and later) don't load in older Python 2 releases.
Runs Abaqus Python in a live Abaqus/CAE session through a local socket bridge, submits jobs, and inspects ODBs and viewports.
Merges Abaqus-Control-MCP and the CAE Agent Hub Abaqus server into one Windows release with a CAE plug-in and bundled skill.
Runs scripts in a live Abaqus/CAE session through a plug-in and returns their output, with a headless noGUI mode and HTTP.
A local bridge into the open Abaqus/CAE session: runs CAE Python, follows solves, queries ODBs and returns viewport images.
Runs Abaqus/Standard headless, reads .sta, .msg and .dat files after a failure, patches the deck and resubmits.
A sandboxed Abaqus command-line server: generates scripts, submits .inp jobs, parses logs and pulls ODB fields to CSV.
Runs Python scripts in an already open Abaqus/CAE window by automating File > Run Script, then scrapes the message area.
25 Abaqus SKILL.md files: a router plus skills for geometry, mesh, loads, steps, jobs, ODB output and each analysis type.

An MCP server or skill can only do what Abaqus lets programs do. Abaqus exposes 2 automation interfaces:
Dassault Systemes doesn't publish an Abaqus MCP server. Its AI work is on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, where the virtual companions AURA, LEO and MARIE became available on 23 July 2026 with skills that the company says span engineering and simulation. That release doesn't name Abaqus or describe an outside API for AI clients, so desktop Abaqus users rely on community servers.

The listings here document setup for Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Codex and Cursor. Install steps, copied from each project's own documentation, are on each listing's page. Most Abaqus integrations run on your own computer next to Abaqus, so you need Abaqus installed and licensed on the same machine unless the listing says otherwise.
No. As of 4 November 2026 Dassault Systemes hasn't released one. Every Abaqus server listed here is a community project and says it isn't affiliated with Dassault.
Yes. Servers such as Abaqus Control MCP and the CAE Agent Hub Abaqus server load a plug-in into Abaqus/CAE, start a local socket bridge from the Plug-ins menu, and let Claude Code run Python against the open model.
It depends on the server. Socket-bridge servers need a Python 3 kernel, so Abaqus 2024 or later; the kbzowski fork was tested on 6.14, and the headless self-correcting server was developed against Abaqus 2022.
Yes. The rutwikg and MOBAI547800 servers work through the abaqus command line, and the kbzowski fork has a noGUI mode. Headless runs still check out an Abaqus licence.
AI-generated models, drawings and results must be checked by a qualified engineer before use.
