What it can do
- Thirteen tools covering environment checks, job runs, status, job files, spec templates, model building and results.
- Builds and meshes models from a JSON spec, either from STEP or IGES geometry or from parametric shapes such as plates, notched bars and L-brackets.
- Repairs failed runs with bounded rules (misspelt keywords, duplicate definitions, stabilisation, smaller increments) and refines the mesh when the failure is mesh-shaped.
- Reports runs repaired by changing the physics as succeeded with caveats, and refuses to invent missing materials or sections.
Limitations
- AGPL-3.0, including use offered over a network; a commercial licence is offered separately.
- The runner uses the Windows abaqus.bat launcher; the Docker image can't contain Abaqus, so you mount your own installation and licence server.
- On Windows install with pip; the author reports that uv fails to unpack a dependency there.
