What it can do

  • Adds model tools to the MATLAB MCP Server for overview, reading blocks and signal flow, editing, structural checks, diagnostics, parameter queries and resolution, and regex search of saved .slx files.
  • Runs Gherkin-style requirement tests with automatic harness generation through model_test.
  • Skill groups cover model building, simulation, plant specification, testing and requirements, architecture modelling, control, physical modelling and code generation.
  • Can index your own block libraries and installed toolbox libraries into a knowledge base so the agent uses them when building models.

Limitations

  • Each MATLAB session needs satk_initialize (or a startup.m entry) before the agent can connect.
  • Some skills need extra products such as System Composer, Simscape or Stateflow, listed in each skill's manifest.
  • Same single-user licence terms and default telemetry as the MATLAB MCP Server.
