Autodesk Product Help MCP Serverby Autodesk
Autodesk's hosted, read-only server that searches Autodesk Help documentation for 110+ products; it answers questions but never opens a drawing or model.
Four community MCP servers drive a running Inventor on Windows through its COM API, from Python or .NET, and one ships two modelling skills. Three build parts, sheet metal and assemblies from a description; one is a developer's tool for watching sessions and editing iLogic rules. Autodesk has no Inventor MCP server, though its Product Help server covers documentation. Most target Inventor 2025 to 2027, and one is free for non-commercial use only.
Autodesk's hosted, read-only server that searches Autodesk Help documentation for 110+ products; it answers questions but never opens a drawing or model.
A COM-based server with 62 tools for parametric Inventor parts, sheet metal and assemblies, with two modelling skills alongside it.
An Inventor add-in and .NET server aimed at plug-in and iLogic developers who want an agent to watch and query a live session.
Drives a running Inventor over COM for sketches, part features, sheet metal, assembly joints and drawing views; free for non-commercial use.
A .NET 8 server with 80+ atomic Inventor tools and a click-through installer that also copies CAD skills into your agent.
Two skills for the inventor-mcp-server: Inventor 2026 modelling habits and API quirks, and DIN/ISO fastener and flange recipes.
Listings are sorted by origin, then by recent activity. GitHub data is refreshed nightly. Nothing here is ranked.
An MCP server or skill can only do what Inventor lets programs do. Inventor exposes 3 automation interfaces:
At Autodesk University 2026, Autodesk said Autodesk Assistant will work in Inventor through the Inventor API and iLogic to analyse models, change parameters and components, create model states and automate repetitive work, with no release date given. Separately, its Product Help MCP server gives outside AI agents read-only access to Help for more than 110 Autodesk products. There is no Autodesk MCP server that drives Inventor.

The listings here document setup for ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, Microsoft Copilot, OpenCode, VS Code, VS Code (GitHub Copilot), Visual Studio (GitHub Copilot) and Windsurf. Install steps, copied from each project's own documentation, are on each listing's page. Most Inventor integrations run on your own computer next to Inventor, so you need Inventor installed and licensed on the same machine unless the listing says otherwise.
Not as of 4 November 2026. Autodesk has announced Autodesk Assistant features for Inventor built on its API and iLogic, and runs a Product Help MCP server for documentation, but every MCP server that controls Inventor is a community project.
Yes, through a community server on the Windows machine where Inventor runs. The cenitu, hsavas and mcp-cad servers sketch, extrude, revolve, add holes and fillets, and assemble components in the open session. Inventor must be installed and licensed.
cenitu was built on 2026 and tested on 2027; tylerwarner33 builds for 2025, 2026 and 2027; mcp-cad needs 2025 or later. The hsavas server doesn't state a release, though a contributor fixed issues on Inventor 2020.
Check each licence. cenitu and tylerwarner33 are MIT and mcp-cad's licence file is GPL-3.0, but the hsavas server is free only for non-commercial use without the author's written permission.
AI-generated models, drawings and results must be checked by a qualified engineer before use.
