What it can do
- Reads the assembly tree, parameters, iProperties, feature health and an ordered feed of Inventor events, so an agent can follow what an automation loop creates.
- Reads, edits and runs iLogic rules, and runs C# snippets or a method from your plug-in build without restarting Inventor.
- Measures drawing layouts for colliding views and balloons, exports sheets as images and can re-balloon an assembly view.
- Searches Autodesk's Inventor API documentation even when Inventor is closed.
Limitations
- Built from source with the .NET 10 SDK; the add-in is deployed once per Inventor release.
- Aimed at development and inspection rather than modelling parts from a description.
