What it can do
- Creates 2D and 3D sketches and features including coils, threads, shells, patterns and boolean combines, plus sheet-metal faces, flanges and flat patterns.
- Places assembly components and adds rigid, rotational, slider and other joints, then drives them to test motion.
- Builds drawing sheets with base and projected views, dimensions, parts lists and title block fields.
- Runs a model health check and captures screenshots for visual checks.
Limitations
- The licence allows non-commercial use only; commercial use needs the author's written permission.
- The run_script tool executes arbitrary Python with full access to the machine; disable it with INVENTOR_MCP_DISABLE_SCRIPT=1.
- Windows only.
