What it can do

  • Sketches in millimetres and builds extrudes, revolves, lofts, sweeps, native drilled, tapped and counterbored holes, fillets, chamfers, patterns and sheet-metal flanges with flat patterns.
  • Places and constrains assembly components, imports STEP vendor parts, checks interference and sweeps a moving part through its range.
  • Produces shop outputs such as a flat-pattern DXF/DWG for laser cutting, a PDF drawing and a BOM CSV with mass and material.
  • Reports a volume and topology change after every feature so the agent can check its own work, and captures views as images.
  • Includes an execute_python tool for anything the named tools don't cover.

Limitations

  • Windows only, with Inventor installed and licensed.
  • Inventor windows opened by hand can't be targeted beyond the first one; let the server start extra instances.
  • Drawing (IDW) support is limited; the author lists it as wanted work.
