What it can do
- Ships the same capability set three ways, as an agent skill, a stdio MCP server and a CAD Studio desktop app; you pick one.
- Produces native SLDPRT, SLDASM and SLDDRW files and PDF drawings, including GB/T-style drawings, threaded holes and gears.
- Treats a successful tool call as unproven until dimensions and output files are read back and checked; stale files are refused as deliverables.
- Includes read-only environment checks (cad_doctor.py) that report the installed release and COM registration without opening CAD.
Limitations
- Native SOLIDWORKS output needs Windows 10 or 11 x64; other systems get only the open-format (OCCT) features.
- Documentation is mainly in Chinese.
- Needs Python 3.10+, Node.js 20+ and Git in addition to a licensed SOLIDWORKS.
