What it can do
- Calls the SOLIDWORKS COM API through the winax bridge for methods with up to 12 parameters.
- Generates and runs a VBA macro for API methods with 13 or more parameters, which Node.js COM bridges often fail to call directly.
- Groups tools for modelling, sketching, drawings, export, analysis, VBA generation and macro recording.
Limitations
- Alpha; the author marks drawing, export, analysis and macro tools as untested against live SOLIDWORKS.
- The winax native module must be compiled on each Windows machine; a global npm install does not work.
