What it can do

  • ansys-structural-workbench sets the order for live structural work through the Workbench MCP, from probing the session and writing a job specification to meshing, solving and reporting.
  • Routes static, contact and nonlinear tasks to narrower reference skills before the agent changes a model.
  • ansys-mechanical-evidence-structural covers Mechanical automation through RunWB2 journals, Mechanical scripting and PyMechanical, with checks on mesh metrics, MAPDL logs and reaction balance.

Limitations

  • Written for Codex first; other clients need the folders copied into their own skill directory.
  • Assumes the hub's Workbench MCP server is registered as ansys-workbench.

Install

Copy the complete skill directory into your agent's skill directory (for Codex, %USERPROFILE%\.codex\skills) or attach the relevant SKILL.md as project context.
