Esri developer agent skillsby Esri
Esri's agent plugins for building ArcGIS apps, with SDK skills and a hosted MCP that searches Esri developer docs.
Esri runs an official hosted MCP server for ArcGIS Location Services, in beta, which geocodes, routes and draws static maps through your ArcGIS account, and publishes agent plugins for ArcGIS app developers. Neither touches ArcGIS Pro. For desktop work, community servers call ArcPy on Windows against a licensed ArcGIS Pro 3.x, either inside a live session or in a separate worker process.

Listings are sorted by origin, then by recent activity. GitHub data is refreshed nightly. Nothing here is ranked.
An MCP server or skill can only do what ArcGIS lets programs do. ArcGIS exposes 4 automation interfaces:
Esri publishes MCP for ArcGIS Location Services, a hosted server it labels beta, plus an Apache-2.0 repository of agent plugins for ArcGIS developers that connects to a hosted documentation MCP. Inside its own products, Esri offers AI assistants that organisation administrators switch on in ArcGIS Online, including an ArcGIS Pro assistant, Arcade and Notebooks assistants, most still marked beta. Esri's early-adopter site says MCP access to ArcGIS Online, Enterprise and Location Platform is being worked on.

The listings here document setup for Claude (custom connector), Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, GitHub Copilot CLI, Goose, Kiro, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Postman, VS Code, VS Code (GitHub Copilot) and Xcode. Install steps, copied from each project's own documentation, are on each listing's page. Most ArcGIS integrations run on your own computer next to ArcGIS, so you need ArcGIS installed and licensed on the same machine unless the listing says otherwise.
Yes, for location services only. Esri hosts MCP for ArcGIS Location Services, labelled beta, for geocoding, routing, elevation and static maps. It needs an ArcGIS Location Platform or ArcGIS Online account. Esri has not released an MCP server for ArcGIS Pro.
Through community servers, on Windows with a licensed ArcGIS Pro. One runs a bridge script in Pro's Python window and works in your open project; another runs ArcPy tools in a separate worker against your project and geodatabase files.
Esri's page doesn't list a separate MCP fee. The calls use your ArcGIS account's location services, and stored geocoding and data enrichment need pay-as-you-go enabled, so check Esri's pricing page for your account type.
arcgis-mcp-bridge lists ArcGIS Pro 3.3, 3.6 and 3.7 as tested and does not run on 3.1 or 3.2, whose Python is older than 3.11. The ArcGIS Pro MCP Bridge by geo2004 says it was tested on 3.6.1.
