What it can do

  • Adds and removes layers, checks coordinate systems, selects by attribute and bulk-edits field values in the open project.
  • Runs any ArcPy geoprocessing tool by name, within an allowlist of toolboxes when the hardening layer is loaded.
  • Creates layouts and exports maps to PDF, PNG and other formats, and publishes a layer to ArcGIS Online or Enterprise as a hosted feature service.
  • Offers one-call recipes such as a layer QC report or attribute export to CSV.

Limitations

  • You start the bridge in ArcGIS Pro every session, from the Python window or a toolbox.
  • Can't open a map view or digitise features by hand; the user opens the map view once per session.
  • If the hardening layer fails to load, the bridge falls back to fully open behaviour, including arbitrary code execution.
  • The README states MIT, but the repository has no licence file.
