Runs SU2 from an agent: edits .cfg files, meshes STEP geometry with gmsh, runs SU2_CFD and SU2_DEF and reads the results.
SU2 has one community MCP server, su2-mcp from Carnegie Mellon's Design Research Collective. It edits .cfg files, meshes STEP geometry with gmsh, runs SU2_CFD and SU2_DEF on your machine and parses the history and surface output, and it plugs into a CPACS aircraft-analysis pipeline. The SU2 project itself offers no MCP server. You need the SU2 binaries and gmsh on your PATH, and the package is an early 0.1 release.

Listings are sorted by origin, then by recent activity. GitHub data is refreshed nightly. Nothing here is ranked.
An MCP server or skill can only do what SU2 lets programs do. SU2 exposes 2 automation interfaces:
The SU2 project site and repository describe the solver suite, documentation and tutorials but no MCP server, AI assistant or agent tooling as of this check. The only integration found is su2-mcp, published by a Carnegie Mellon research group as part of a set of aircraft-design MCP servers that also covers TiGL geometry, pyCycle engines and mission analysis.

Taken from the listings' own documentation. Check each listing for exactly what it supports.
Yes, one: su2-mcp, maintained by the Design Research Collective at Carnegie Mellon University under the MIT licence and published on PyPI. It isn't from the SU2 developers themselves.
No. The package is pure Python and calls SU2_CFD, SU2_CFD_MPI and SU2_DEF from your PATH; STEP meshing also needs gmsh on the PATH. A get_su2_status tool reports which binaries it can find.
Within limits. Through su2-mcp's CPACS adapter, an agent can mesh a STEP geometry, run an Euler case and write CL, CD and L/D back into a CPACS file. Other setups go through the generic config, mesh and solver tools, so the agent has to choose the options itself.
stdio by default, plus HTTP and streamable HTTP with host, port and path options, and Server-Sent Events. Programmatic entry points are available from su2_mcp.main for embedding the server in other code.
AI-generated models, drawings and results must be checked by a qualified engineer before use.
