PV Elite AI integrations
No MCP server or agent skill for PV Elite is listed yet (checked 4 Nov 2026). Nothing is listed for PV Elite yet. Octave, which now sells it as Aspect Pressure Vessel, documents no scripting API, so an integration would work with its files: the SQLite job file, Access and Excel exchange, CAESAR II nozzle loads and HTRI exchanger data. Pressure vessel design sits next to the piping and plant tools on this site that do have MCP servers, such as AVEVA E3D.
How AI connects to PV Elite
An MCP server or skill can only do what PV Elite lets programs do. PV Elite exposes 2 automation interfaces:
- SQLite job file and database exports (Input files): PV Elite stores each vessel job as a SQLite database that it reads and writes, and it exports input data to Microsoft Access. An agent could read the job with any SQLite library to pull shell and head thicknesses, nozzle data and design conditions, or compare two revisions of a vessel, without opening PV Elite. Writing to the file directly is riskier, because the program expects its own structure. Documentation
- Excel exchange and links to other programs (Other): Detail data can be pasted into Excel and imported back when it keeps the same layout. PV Elite also reads CAESAR II output for nozzle loads, imports HTRI .dbo exchanger data, and writes foundation loads as XML, DXF drawings, 3D PDF and .vue files for Smart 3D and Smart Review. Each of those is a file an agent could prepare or check. Documentation
What Octave (formerly Hexagon PPM) offers
PV Elite has a long-standing "AI" setting that remembers your earlier entries and suggests the values you use most; it learns from your own inputs rather than using a language model. Octave's product page for Aspect Pressure Vessel mentions no AI assistant, and no MCP server from Octave or anyone else was found as of this check.

What an integration for PV Elite could do
- Read a PV Elite job file and produce a summary of design pressure and temperature, materials, component thicknesses and nozzles for a datasheet.
- Take nozzle loads from a CAESAR II run and check that every nozzle in the vessel model has a matching load case.
- Compare two revisions of a vessel job and list changed components, materials and design conditions.
- Prepare the Excel detail table for a batch of nozzles in the layout PV Elite imports, for an engineer to paste in and check.
Know of one, or building one?

Questions
Is there a PV Elite MCP server?
No, not as of 4 November 2026. Neither Octave nor the community has published one.
Does PV Elite's AI option use a language model?
No. The option stores your previous entries and proposes the most used values for each parameter, and it doesn't connect to outside agents.
What is the latest PV Elite version?
The latest help documentation is version 28. Octave now markets the product as Aspect Pressure Vessel.
AI-generated models, drawings and results must be checked by a qualified engineer before use.
