What it can do
- Adds components, property methods, blocks and streams, and sets up RadFrac, RStoic and kinetic RCSTR or RPlug reactors, design specs, sensitivity studies and Fortran calculators.
- Reads stream tables, block results and column profiles, searches the .rep report and takes screenshots of the flowsheet.
- Opens your files as working copies and refuses to write into folders you list as protected.
- Looks up Aspen's own help text for any input field, so blocks without a dedicated tool can still be filled in.
Limitations
- Windows only, one simulation per Claude session, and tested on Windows 11 with an English locale.
- Can't attach to an Aspen window you opened yourself; the server has to open the file.
- Doesn't cover the electrolyte wizard, property regression, costing, Energy Analyzer, Dynamics, EO mode or custom ACM and Fortran unit models.
