What it can do
- Filters elements by category, level and parameter values, keeps the results as named sets and acts on them later, such as selecting, overriding graphics or updating parameters.
- Reads and edits schedules, places views on new sheets and flags view names that break a naming pattern.
- Exports the active view or isolated elements as images so a vision model can inspect them.
- Deletes elements only with dry-run, confirmation and maximum-count safeguards.
- Saves local notes on project conventions for later sessions.
Limitations
- Needs pyRevit with its Routes server switched on, and Windows may ask for firewall access.
- One server process runs either the MCP or the web surface, not both.
- Schedule formula text isn't supported, because the public Revit API has no setter for it.
