What it can do
- Connects to or launches HFSS over gRPC and keeps the session alive between tool calls, saving session state to a JSON file.
- Creates projects, boxes, cylinders and spheres, wave ports, radiation boundaries, design variables and solution setups, runs the analysis and extracts S-parameters.
- Builds a searchable knowledge base from the Ansys product documentation PDFs on your machine and answers modelling questions about ports, boundaries, setups and meshing from it.
Limitations
- Geometry tools cover only basic primitives; anything else needs extending the server.
- The README (in Chinese) documents known PyAEDT version differences for radiation boundaries, wave port faces, S-parameter extraction and far-field setup over gRPC.
- No licence file in the repository; the README states MIT.
