What it can do

  • Connects through win32com to the AEDT ProgID for the installed version, so it doesn't depend on gRPC or a PyAEDT version floor.
  • Covers geometry, booleans, materials, boundaries, lumped, wave and coax ports, master/slave periodic cells with Floquet ports, eigenmode setups, parametric sweeps and the built-in optimizer.
  • Reports S11 and bandwidth, VSWR and input impedance, far-field gain, axial ratio and surface current along a path, and runs sensitivity and tolerance (yield) studies.
  • Can read and edit an object's modelling history, replacing fixed values with design variables.
  • Ships three Claude Code skills and two slash commands, installed together by its install script.

Limitations

  • Windows only, because the connection uses pywin32 COM.
  • A running solve can't be interrupted; later tool calls queue behind it.
  • Periodic-cell tools have not been regression-tested on real AEDT across versions yet.
  • Outside Claude Code the skills don't load and the analyze confirmation prompt is lost.
