What it can do

  • Attaches to a running AEDT session on the gRPC port shown in its Message Manager.
  • Builds a fully parametric coax-fed patch antenna or a centre-fed half-wave dipole for a given frequency, with boundaries, ports, setup, sweeps, far-field sphere and reports.
  • Adds wave and lumped ports, adaptive setups and frequency sweeps, solves, and reads S-parameters and far-field patterns.
  • Runs arbitrary PyAEDT code as a background job that the agent polls for results.

Limitations

  • Install and configuration steps are written for Windows paths only.
  • Dedicated geometry tools are limited to boxes, cylinders and spheres.
  • No licence file in the repository; the README states Apache 2.0.
