What it can do
- Covers the full HFSS loop with named tools for variables, geometry, materials, wave ports, setups, frequency and parametric sweeps, optimetrics and HPC options.
- Reads results as Touchstone data, far-field and antenna parameters, RCS data and signal integrity expressions, and exports reports and field plots.
- Exposes the native AEDT object model (oDesktop, oProject, oDesign, oEditor and design modules) through controlled call tools for anything PyAEDT doesn't wrap.
- Unit tests run without an AEDT licence; desktop smoke tests are documented for a licensed Windows install.
Limitations
- PolyForm Noncommercial 1.0.0 licence; commercial use needs a separate agreement with the author.
- Real AEDT execution is documented for Windows only, and the author's verification covers AEDT 2024 R2.
- Solver-specific Ansys licences are needed for solver constructors and analysis.
