What it can do
- A routing skill picks the right path for a task: TIA Scripting Python, C# Openness, Modular Application Creator, diagnostics or Add-In development.
- Eleven C# Openness skills cover projects and libraries, devices, PLC software, HMI Classic and Unified, networks, SINAMICS drives, import/export, Multiuser, Teamcenter, TestSuite and SiVArc.
- A standalone skill reviews exported SCL/ST, SIMATIC SD or SimaticML code for security and quality issues.
- A read-only PowerShell probe checks the V21 executable, the Openness assemblies and Openness group membership.
Limitations
- The plugin teaches the agent to write automation code; it doesn't connect to a running TIA Portal (pair it with an Openness MCP server for that).
- API references are audited for V21 only.
