What it can do
- Fifteen read and planning tools for Capture list pages, parts, pins, nets and library packages, find hanging wires and run BOM, netlist and high-speed net audits.
- Can connect two pins on the same page through the database layer, after a preview tool resolves their coordinates.
- Allegro tools read DRCs, symbols and nets and run placement, dangling-copper and silkscreen audits.
- Large lists are paged (up to 500 items per call) and return structured content with read-only or destructive hints.
Limitations
- Write tools, including arbitrary SKILL in Allegro, appear only with --allow-write; the author advises backing up the design before writing.
- Documentation is in Chinese.
- Capture-only use works without Allegro, but both sides are tied to SPB 17.4.
