OLGA AI integrations

No MCP server or agent skill for OLGA is listed yet (checked 4 Nov 2026). No MCP server, agent skill or SLB AI assistant covers OLGA as of November 2026. SLB's Tela catalogue includes a Pipesim assistant but no OLGA workflow. Automation runs through OLGA's text input keys and its OPC link to other simulators, so a first integration would most likely build case variations and exchange values over OPC rather than drive the GUI.

How AI connects to OLGA

An MCP server or skill can only do what OLGA lets programs do. OLGA exposes 2 automation interfaces:

  • OPC link and simulator coupling (Other): SLB's product page describes an open OPC link to other simulators, coupling with SLB and third-party tools such as the Eclipse reservoir simulator and ROCX, and a converter that turns a Pipesim steady-state model into an OLGA case. An OPC link is a standard industrial data interface, so it is the most direct path for an outside program, or an MCP server, to exchange values with OLGA. Documentation
  • Case input keys (Input files): OLGA cases are defined by input keys set in the user interface, and new behaviour arrives as new keys; SLB's release notes describe a case-level TLE key that aligns time steps with timeline events. Because cases are keyword-driven, an agent could build parameter variations for slugging, start-up or blowdown studies without touching the GUI. Documentation

What SLB offers

SLB's Tela agentic-AI catalogue lists workflows for Petrel, Techlog, Pipesim, Symmetry and other SLB applications, but none for OLGA as of 4 November 2026. OLGA's product page links to SLB's Physics-Informed AI product, a hybrid technique that combines simulation with process data, but describes no assistant. No MCP server or public scripting API for OLGA has been announced.

What an integration for OLGA could do

  • Generate a set of OLGA cases that vary inlet rate, water cut or outlet pressure from one base case, for a slugging or turndown study.
  • Summarise results after a run, such as liquid holdup, surge volumes and minimum fluid temperatures against a hydrate limit you supply.
  • Set boundary conditions and read pipeline pressures from a running OLGA model through its OPC link, for example during a shut-in and restart scenario.
  • Convert a Pipesim network to an OLGA starting case and list what still needs transient inputs, such as valve timings and controllers.

Know of one, or building one?

If an MCP server or agent skill for OLGA exists, tell us and we'll check it and list it. You can also ask for one, which helps builders see demand.

Questions

Is there an OLGA MCP server?

No. No community or SLB server for OLGA was found on 4 November 2026, and SLB's Tela assistant has no OLGA workflow in its catalogue.

How could an AI agent work with OLGA?

Through files and OPC. An agent could write case variations, run them in batch and parse the results, or exchange values with a running simulation over OPC. Both routes need an OLGA licence.

AI-generated models, drawings and results must be checked by a qualified engineer before use.
