NAPA AI integrations
No MCP server or agent skill for NAPA is listed yet (checked 4 Nov 2026). No MCP server or agent skill exists for NAPA. NAPA says its 2026.1 release made NAPA Designer and NAPA Engineer, and their documentation, ready for AI tools, and that its first AI tool prototypes should be published within 2026. Until then, automation means NAPA's own scripting and the NAPA API, with documentation behind a customer sign-in.
How AI connects to NAPA
An MCP server or skill can only do what NAPA lets programs do. NAPA exposes 2 automation interfaces:
- NAPA scripting (Other): NAPA describes its applications as widely based on scripting, which you use to adapt the built-in tools and build project-specific modelling, calculation and reporting. Hydrostatics, intact and damage stability with SOLAS 2020 support all run inside this environment. The reference documentation is on docs.napa.fi, which requires a NAPA customer login. Documentation
- NAPA API and Node Network (Other): Release 2026.1 notes that new structural capabilities, such as thickness-aware workflows, are also exposed through the NAPA API and are being piloted with Chantiers de l'Atlantique. The same release introduces NAPA Node Network, a new customisation environment on the NAPA Engineer platform, which is where future automation is heading. Documentation
What NAPA offers
In its 2026.1 release notes (26 June 2026), NAPA says NAPA Designer and NAPA Engineer software and documentation have been made ready for the AI era, that the first AI tool prototypes have been introduced, and that they can be expected to be published within the year. No MCP server or named assistant was public as of 4 November 2026.

What an integration for NAPA could do
- Run intact and damage stability for a set of loading conditions and summarise which SOLAS criteria pass or fail.
- Write a NAPA script that generates a standard set of hydrostatic and capacity tables for a new hull and formats them for the trim and stability booklet.
- Check a NAPA Designer structural model for missing plate thicknesses or profiles before it is exported to class.
- Compare compartment volumes and centres of gravity between two design revisions and list the changes.
Know of one, or building one?
If an MCP server or agent skill for NAPA exists, tell us and we'll check it and list it. You can also ask for one, which helps builders see demand.

Questions
Is there a NAPA MCP server?
No. NAPA has said AI tool prototypes are coming within 2026 but hasn't announced an MCP server, and no community project was found on 4 November 2026.
What is the closest listed alternative?
For hull modelling and stability, Maxsurf has a community MCP server that drives Modeler and Stability on Windows, though it is a release candidate.
AI-generated models, drawings and results must be checked by a qualified engineer before use.
