What it can do

  • Covers mechanical sheets (ISO dimensions, fits, GD&T, title blocks and parts lists), P&IDs with ISA-5.1 symbols, floor plans with measured room areas, and pipe or cable takeoffs.
  • Measures typed requirements, such as a bore diameter or hole count, on the drawn geometry and again on the saved file before delivery.
  • Reads drawings made by others, compares revisions and checks topology for dangling ends and near misses.
  • Lets you trim the advertised tool list with profiles, packs or a three-tool search mode to cut the tokens the client spends.

Limitations

  • Live control needs Windows, full AutoCAD and the [com] extra; AutoCAD LT is not mentioned.
  • Writing DWG headlessly needs the ODA File Converter; otherwise the headless engine saves DXF.
  • ALLOWED_PATHS is unscoped by default, so set it to limit which folders the server can touch.
  • Some mechanical standards tables (DIN 471/472 and others) ship empty in 1.7.
