What it can do
- Describes circuits as Python functions and generates KiCad schematic and PCB projects from them; existing .kicad_sch files can be imported back into Python.
- New projects include Claude Code skills for circuit patterns, JLCPCB component search and KiCad symbol and footprint lookup.
- Adds agents such as circuit-architect and simulation-expert, and slash commands like /find-symbol and /find-parts.
- Exports BOMs and PDFs through kicad-cli.
Limitations
- You work in Python code; layout and routing are still done in KiCad by hand.
- The skills live in the generated project's .claude folder, so they load only when Claude Code runs from that project.
