Mastercam MCPby Praket7
A read-only-by-default bridge to a live Mastercam session plus offline job-review tools for tool lists, NC code and setup sheets.
One community MCP server, Mastercam MCP, connects to Mastercam. Most of its 24 default tools review exported job data (tool lists, NC programs, cycle-time estimates, setup sheets) and work without Mastercam. On a licensed Windows workstation a NET-Hook add-in gives a limited live read path, with a Mastercam 2027 operation snapshot still under acceptance testing. It starts read only, and it can't post code, run a machine or execute arbitrary code. CNC Software's own AI assistant, Mastercam Copilot, is not exposed over MCP.

Listings are sorted by origin, then by recent activity. GitHub data is refreshed nightly. Nothing here is ranked.
An MCP server or skill can only do what Mastercam lets programs do. Mastercam exposes 2 automation interfaces:
CNC Software includes Mastercam Copilot with Mastercam 2026.R2 at no extra cost for Mastercam CONNECT subscribers. It answers questions from Mastercam's help and knowledge base, searches training videos, and takes voice or text commands to edit feeds and speeds, create machine groups and operations and navigate the interface. The product page doesn't mention MCP or an API for outside agents.

One community server, Mastercam MCP (npm package mastercam-mcp, Apache-2.0). CNC Software doesn't publish an MCP server.
Not through this server. It can draft an outside-diameter turning plan as a proposal and apply approved parameter changes, but it doesn't create Mastercam operations, generate toolpaths or post NC code.
The server starts read only. Writes need a write profile, a hard read-only opt-out and an operator-approved preview tied to the document revision. Its NC review can't certify a program, so Mastercam Verify, machine simulation and a prove-out are still needed.
Not as far as CNC Software documents. Copilot runs inside Mastercam for CONNECT subscribers, and its product page mentions no MCP or external API.
AI-generated models, drawings and results must be checked by a qualified engineer before use.
