What it can do
- Reviews exported job data, comparing tool lists, checking supported moves in NC programs and estimating cycle time.
- Calculates thread guidance from confirmed dimensions, writes setup notes, suggests tools from your catalogue and drafts an outside-diameter turning plan.
- On a licensed Windows workstation, a NET-Hook add-in reads the environment and, on Mastercam 2027, a limited operation list.
- Starts read only; changes need a write profile, an explicit opt-out of hard read-only, and a before/after preview the operator approves.
- Shows 24 tools by default, with a full toolset for specialist workflows and an audit log check.
Limitations
- No posting, machine control, program transfer, cycle start or arbitrary code execution.
- Unsupported NC cycles, macros, rotary moves and controller behaviour come back as unknown; Mastercam Verify, machine simulation and prove-out are still required.
- Stock, work offsets and cutting paths are outside tested live coverage, and .TOOLDB files can't be read.
