What it can do
- Looks up, queries and searches elements, walks the hierarchy and reads attributes in the open MDB, and can run PML commands.
- Traverses the model as a graph (connections, subtrees, shortest paths between elements).
- Piping tools produce a material take-off and pipe report, audit loops, check specs, clone branches and bulk-set attributes.
Limitations
- The C# bridge is a standalone E3D process that logs into the project with credentials from environment variables and serves a REST API on localhost port 5000; it needs an E3D-licensed Windows machine and an x86 build against your E3D installation.
- Tools that set attributes, run PML, clone branches or call SaveWork can change the database; the author advises a controlled MDB.
- No licence file; the README notes some E3D DLLs may need a Microsoft Defender exclusion.
