What it can do

Creates buildings from type and floor area, applies ASHRAE 90.1 templates and baseline systems, and swaps HVAC systems such as VAV reheat to VRF.
Runs EnergyPlus simulations and extracts EUI, unmet hours and end-use results.
Writes, tests and applies OpenStudio measures in Ruby or Python, and downloads BCL measures.
Imports gbXML, with a repair workflow for Revit geometry defects, and submits analyses to an OpenStudio Analysis Framework server.
Ships workflow skills for Claude Code (simulate, energy report, retrofit, QA/QC and others).

Limitations

Runs as a Docker container; the model, run and measure folders must be mounted for the tools to see your files.
Attaching a file in the chat doesn't reach the tools; files must be in the mounted inputs folder.
Measure code runs in a Linux sandbox; native macOS or Windows without Docker gets only environment filtering.
Hosts with tool caps, such as Windsurf at about 100, need the tool list filtered.
